Our department consists of four teams, which, in addition to good spirits and humor, are also united by the innovative product of the Fare Collection Systems division called Account-based ticketing (ABT) and its portals. Although each team is responsible for a different part, the result of our work is a fare system that simplifies and speeds up the purchase of tickets.

ABT Portals

We are a relaxed team with a specific sense of humor – it is not always "publicly accessible", but it makes us who we are. Each of us has our own specific role and personality, which creates a colorful and relaxed working atmosphere. We can make fun of each other, but at the same time we can rely on each other. There is no shortage of interesting moments here, as we also have our own little individual rituals. Thanks to our great team spirit, we can get through everything even the days when one challenge after another comes our way.

What we do
Our job is to deliver software that is functional, secure, and user-friendly. Software that addresses real needs in the field of passenger equipment systems. What we enjoy most about our work is seeing the practical application of our solutions. We work on products that will be used by thousands of people around the world every day. And we are proud of that.

We work as a team. Because even the sharpest eagle eye can be clouded at times. That's why mutual help and cooperation are important to us. We live by the motto that improvements are always welcome and shared within the team to make our work better and easier for everyone.

Humor also helps us in our work. The best jokes, fun facts, and life experiences come up almost daily at our daily stand-up meetings. We learn all sorts of things about each other (sometimes even things we didn't want to know) and throw ourselves into our work with a positive attitude. Various internal reports prove that we are experts at this. An interesting fact is that most of the names and surnames in our team begin with "MA". And if not, we have siblings with names that start with „MA“ at home.

What we do
As an integration team, we verify the functionality and usability of the integration of the back end (BE) with the front end (FE). We focus mainly on web and operational portals, but also on inspection applications. Our main task is to test the entire flow of delivered functionalities and cover them with automated integration tests. At the same time, we maintain product quality with sets of regression tests, which are necessary to detect any inconsistencies that may have arisen during the deployment of new versions. Another noteworthy task is the verification of Business Process documentation, as it is one of the most important sources of information about functionalities for our customers.

We are a team that was formed by the merger of two different, but closely connected teams. Each of us brought something of our own – experience, ideas, and a little chaos – and together we make a great team. We collaborate on a wide range of projects – from development to deployment.

But besides working hard, we also know how to relax – over coffee, in joint discussions, or just laughing at everything we succeed or failed at. We are a team where good mood and quality work complement each other.

What we do
We develop several key components of the ABT system. And if that wasn´t enough, we also take care of deploying releases and preparing and setting up environments to make work easier not only for us but also for our colleagues from other teams. At first glance, our work may not always be visible, but anyone who takes a closer look will see that we are definitely not slacking off.

Our team is international. Slovakia is represented by three JAVA programmers, while the rest of the team is from Germany. We are united not only by English and morning stand-ups, but also by a desire to constantly learn and have clean code.

What we do
Our alpha and omega is back office software. We develop tools for managing, configuring, and monitoring various types of ticket vending machines (automatic ticket machines, ticket machines in customer centers or with drivers, etc.).

Our software is used not only by our colleagues, but also by customers. Thanks to it, they can register devices, determine their location and status, control them remotely, manage their versions, and have all the information they need to make decisions.

Where to find us

In our offices located in the Žilina IT center on the top 3rd floor of building D. Thanks to the large windows, we have a great view of the surrounding mountains, and thanks to the blinds, we have shadow art on the walls.

The kitchen is just a stone's throw away. For lunch, we run down three floors in our slippers to our company canteen, SuB Ka. We only use the elevator in extreme cases of laziness.
