Fare Collection Systems

Three cities – one team – millions of passengers worldwide

There are more than 280 of us, and we are still growing, just like the number of passengers worldwide who use our systems every day to simplify public transport. We develop, test, and provide 24-hour technical support from Slovakia, regardless of whether they are located in Italy, Germany, England, or the USA.
 

We are the largest software division of Scheidt & Bachmann Slovakia, and you will find our teams not only in the IT center in Žilina, but also in the two largest Slovak cities – Bratislava and Košice. Although hundreds of kilometers separate us, we communicate daily, work closely together, and pull in the same direction.

Our development teams work in an agile manner. That's why, in addition to SW Developers and SW Testers, you'll also find Product Owners and Scrum Masters here. We sprint regularly and hold reviews and retrospectives to find ways to make our work more efficient. A big advantage is that we have two huge testing rooms filled with devices where we can verify how our code brings the hardware to life.

Service teams are available 24/7/365. We communicate with customers and colleagues from all over the world by phone, email, and chat in English or German. We proactively monitor thousands of devices, and when a malfunction occurs, we immediately address it according to its severity at the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level of service support. We know that it can affect the lives of thousands of people who rely on public transportation.
