We are a small team with a big heart! We were founded in 2000 with a special mission and a variety of tasks:
Our colleagues turn to us when they are interested in any figures in our division – how many passengers bought a ticket on a given day? What is the failure rate of our subway gates in England for the past month? What is the success rate of the first-level technical support team in resolving customer issues? And many other tricky questions to which we seek answers in large amounts of data.
The great thing is that we play at work – with numbers, tables, and graphs, which we summarize in various reports. We also engage in active data analysis and search for various correlations and useful connections. For example, using machine learning algorithms, we have identified the factors that most influence the failure rate of our TVMs (i.e., automatic Ticket Vending Machines). In practice, this means we can predict which devices will need more servicing, allowing us to plan the number of preventive service inspections. Recently, we have been devoting most of our energy to building a data warehouse for our customers' needs.
Without us, technically skilled administrators, the Salesforce system would not be able to function. It is the basic tool of the entire service department of the Fare Collection Systems division. In addition to providing daily support to our colleagues, we work on improving existing functions, integrating external systems, and solving various current problems.
We are also responsible for the MuleSoft integration platform, which connects the various systems used within our company, such as Jira and SAP.
"I really appreciate our company's stability, its responsiveness to special needs (e.g., for parents with small children), and its focus on long-term employee satisfaction."
"I joined Scheidt & Bachmann because it offers a stable background and a human approach. I see an opportunity here to advance both personally and professionally, while also contributing to the company's growth."
Our offices are located in Žilina on Priemyselná Street – in the IT center building, on the top floor with the most beautiful view of the surrounding area.
