We are a young team of developers who bring not only know-how to our work, but also smiles, positive energy and big hearts. That's why we are affectionately called “Sunshines“. Officially, we are the “SIQMA Smoove“ team.

Our work is like a jigsaw puzzle – step by step, we create individual pieces that ultimately come together to form a single functional whole. It's amazing to see how our solutions transform into something that not only works great, but also looks good.

We watch as ideas turn into functional code, as we collaborate, solve problems, overcome obstacles – and finally, everything falls into place.

Our technologies

Our work involves a combination of several areas of software development.

In the backend, we develop and test business logic in Java for various projects.

In the frontend, we work with Angular, where we focus on fine-tuning the design of the user interface, such as modal windows and controls in the POS system.

Team communication, debugging, and in some cases analysis and understanding of older code also play an important role – sometimes requiring a form of “reverse engineering“.

We perform automated UI tests in Selenium and API tests in Postman.

The automated tests are then run through Jenkins pipelines and the results are added to Jira via X-ray.

What we do

We work on various projects for multiple customers.

We devote most of our working time to the SIQMA Smoove product – a self-service terminal for petrol stations.

We also participate in the SIQMA POS 2.0 (cash register system) and FlowMax AI projects – an outdoor information panel at electric charging stations where drivers can find all the important information in one place. Thanks to an integrated AI module, it can predict when a specific charging spot will become available, which saves drivers a lot of time.

We are also helping to develop SIQMA OPT 2.0, a version of an outdoor self-service payment terminal that allows payment at petrol stations outside opening hours and at self-service petrol stations.

We see obstacles as opportunities to learn something. We help each other, advise each other and share our knowledge. And when things get tough, we know that together we can handle it – and we always end up laughing.

Where to find us

We are located on the 1st floor of building B on Priemyselná Street in Žilina.

It smells like coffee here, sometimes like a freshly solved bug, and in the background you can hear the sound of keyboards clicking. This is our place – a work refuge where ideas are born and where the best random conversations take place in the kitchen.

We operate hybridly – we see each other at least two days a week all together in the office, but many of us spend more time here voluntarily.

Why?
Because we enjoy being together.

And when we need to work from home, no problem – home office is a perfectly fine part of our routine.
