We remember it well.
When we started out, most people around us played it safe – old technologies, old approaches, old processes. It worked. Everything was familiar and comfortable.

We chose a different path.
We embarked on the development of something that at the time had no certainty or guarantee of success.

We did not follow templates. We did not wait for instructions. We wrote them ourselves. At a time when others were saying “not yet“, we said “now”.

And that's why we earned the name “Pioneers“. Not because we wanted to be different – but because we had to if we wanted to change something.

We are a mixed Slovak-German team that works like a perfectly tuned orchestra – everyone plays a different instrument, but together we create exceptional harmony.

We are a development team – but in reality, we do much more than just “coding“. We build new things. We think of ways to simplify, speed up and automate things. Sometimes we feel like architects, other times like detectives, and sometimes even like magicians when everything works on the first try.

What are we working on?

Behind a simple action – refuelling, paying, receiving a receipt – is our POS 2.0 cash register system, which runs at hundreds of petrol stations. We develop it for large customers such as Shell, ENI, BP, Q8 and T&R. Another interesting project is BISTRO POS, a solution for restaurant sales at petrol stations.

We collaborate across countries, cultures and teams. We know what responsibility and trust mean. But we also know that quality is more important than quantity... Yet we manage to do both.

We are proud that our work is not just “code in the cloud“, but a real system that people use every day.

Our technologies

Frontend: we use Angular to create fast and responsive user interfaces for POS systems.
Middleware: the core of our business logic is built on Java EE, which allows us to process requests and integrations in a stable and scalable manner.
Gateway layers: communication with devices at petrol stations (e.g. fuel dispensers, payment terminals) takes place via components developed in C++, which ensure low latency and reliable real-time data transfer.
Testing: we use Selenide for automated UI testing, which helps us ensure the quality and functionality of our systems in various deployment scenarios.

Where to find us

You can find us at Priemyselná 12 in Žilina, in building B on the 2nd floor. This is our main workplace, where most of the team meets. Some of our colleagues work in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

We communicate daily via Microsoft Teams. We are always in contact, no matter where we work, including from home, as we operate in a hybrid mode.

We spend at least two days a week in the office, but most of the team comes in more often because we enjoy meeting and working together in person.
