On 29 December 2024, Prof. Ing. Ladislav Skyva, DrSc. – a prominent personality of the international academic environment, founder of the study field of Cybernetics in Transport and Communications, a long-time university teacher, scientist and also a person thanks to whom the company Scheidt & Bachmann established cooperation with the University of Žilina and opened its first foreign branch in Slovakia.
If you had the honour to know Mr. Professor personally, you can take the opportunity to write a few lines in the electronic book of condolences. The last farewell will take place on January 7, 2025 at 12.00 p.m. at the Old Cemetery in Žilina.
You can also remember the professor thanks to the interview he gave to our company in 2020. Together with Dr. Gert Miller, former owner and CEO of Scheidt & Bachmann, he recalled how Scheidt & Bachmann Slovensko was founded.
