Cooperations
Our company has been collaborating successfully with Žilina University in Slovakia since 1991. A framework agreement was signed between our company and Žilina University on the opening of the production hall in 2007. This framework agreement is the cornerstone for the "Scheidt & Bachmann AWARD".
This goes to the students who write the best theses in the Electro Engineering Faculty, the Faculty of Management and Informatics and the Faculty of Heavy Engineering at Žilina University. The main assessment criterion is practicability, although the learning results achieved during the course also count.
Scheidt & Bachmann organises a technical excursion to the parent company in Mönchengladbach once per annum for the best students. This gives the young people an opportunity to gain a first insight into our family-run firm and we have already been able to recruit a couple of undergraduates in this way.
ZAIT
We are one of the founding companies of ZAIT– Žilina´s IT cluster, which connects companies, schools and faculties focused on IT. It helps them to unite and expand the IT community in Žilina. We regularly participate in educational, promotional and sporting events organized by the cluster. Why? Because we are the company that employs the most IT professionals in Žilina. That is why we hold one of the vice-presidency positions in the organisation.
