Do you know how many Scheidt & Bachmann level crossings there are in Slovakia?

In addition to acquiring orders for new parking lots, our sales team is also responsible for selling BUES 2000 level crossings. How many were added in Slovakia last year, and how many are there in total? Read on to find out.

Last year, the sales team actively participated in several tenders for the reconstruction of railroad crossings across Slovakia. After several months of negotiations and preparatory construction work, at the end of 2025 they managed to install two new railway crossings near the village of Holiša, located in southern Slovakia between the towns of Lučenec and Fiľakovo.

The crossings are located at 150.060 km and 154.992 km. Both are equipped with two automatic barriers and warning devices.

Thanks to these new crossings, there are now 20 railway crossings in Slovakia equipped with the Scheidt & Bachmann BUES 2000 system. This system is very popular with railway companies across Europe thanks to its sophistication, flexibility, and reliability. You can find it, for example, in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, but also in the Czech Republic and Poland.
