International know-how transfer

|   Corporate

Our production in Bytča has been transformed into an international training centre.

In the first quarter of 2025, it hosted colleagues from its Canadian branch in its premises, for whom it prepared a course entitled "LCM measure for DRIVE MODULE GATE". Its aim was to teach our Canadian colleagues how to upgrade our FareGo PG|40 metro gate motors correctly and efficiently. The intensive training with a lot of practical demonstrations and real installations was enriched by our Slovak colleagues with their proven and SAP documented procedures, which simplify the work.

The training programme also included a meeting in the reconstructed Žilina IT centre with the GSOC (Global Service Operations Centre) team, which works most closely with the Canadian branch within the service part of the FCS division. This is because it provides the first level of technical support for customers in case of problems with our software or hardware. The face-to-face meeting was very stimulating for everyone, as colleagues were finally able to connect signatures from emails and voices from the phone with real people.

At the end of the training, all participants received a certificate confirming that the Canadian colleagues are already as expert at upgrading gate motors as their Slovakian instructors.

The international exchange of know-how and cooperation within S&B is also pushed up another level with such training. And we will certainly continue!
