Teambuilding hiking directed by Parking Solutions Division
In the morning we gathered at the specified check points and took the train or bus. Our goal was to reach the picturesque village of Zbyňov, located at the foothills of the Strážov Hills. From there, we headed towards the Strážovské vrchy Protected Landscape Area to enjoy a spectacular view of the breath-taking Budzogáň rock structure after climbing a steep hill. This rock is shrouded in many legends.. We took a break and regained our strength because another steep hill was waiting for us. This hill took us to the top of the Žibrid hill. A short break at the top of the pointed hill also fit us well and we were able to enjoy the rest of our hike. We already had the first 450 m of altitude and a slightly over 5 km in our legs. We still had 13 km to go to Lietava castle.
From Žibrid we went on an endless descent along the Patúch valley, at the end of which we had the opportunity to wonder at a small lake and a great tree swing, on which we tried an adrenaline ride. Our journey continued all the way to the nearby village of Lietavská Svinná, from where a short but challenging climb took us directly to Lietava Castle.
In the castle's buffet, refreshments and a pleasant coolness awaited us. It freshened us up nicely after the 18-kilometre march. In addition, we enjoyed a barbecue of traditional sausages and bacon, and had the opportunity to explore the castle with a guided tour with commentary. Feeling satisfied, we then slowly made our way home. Some of us decided to take the bus service, while the more adventurous, who were not yet tired enough, opted to walk all the way to Žilina.
On this teambuilding hike, apart from physical fitness, we also improved our relationships within the team. We got to know each other not only in the working environment, but also in informal "civilian" during the movement in the beautiful Slovak nature. We believe that this experience will help us to understand each other better and to cooperate in our everyday working life.

We believe that this teambuilding hike contributed to strengthening our team and created new memories that will stay in our minds for a long time.
