Even cyclists park in Žilina with Scheidt & Bachmann

Green project not only for our cyclists

After moving the Parking Systems department to a new office which is located at the Bernolákova Street in Žilina, our employees have started to use bicycle stands in front of the Regional Library in Žilina. We joined with the non-profit organisation Mulica and launched project focused on building the new bicycle stands for library in order to have enough space for parking bikes of our employees and library´s visitors.

We had to consult the project with the traffic engineer, the library management and the city representatives, too. We agreed to add 6 more bicycle stands to existing bicycles stands in front of the library. Our project was approved by all the parties - with one voice.

"We are very grateful to Scheidt & Bachmann Slovensko s.r.o to add the new bicycle stands, because the existing ones came short to get parked all bikes of all our visitors. Thanks to you and your employees, our library has become a little more greener, " said Mgr. Katarína Šušoliaková, CEO Regional Library in Žilina, on margo of our successful cooperation.

When IT engineers are fond of cycling

Michal Žarnay from the Parking Systems department was a Project Coordinator. Scheidt & Bachmann Slovensko financed the purchase of the bicycle stands and our IT employees proved that they are not only skilled developers, but they are able to work with spanners, too. For them, it was an easy game to install the new stands which have been used by public since October 2017.

Also our employees appreciate the stands: "I´m glad for every step to build bike-friendly town, because sometimes it´s really hard to breathe here in the morning," says Miloš Comorek from the Parking Systems department.

We will need to use the new bicycle stands soon. Our cyclists are preparing hard for the next year of the "To Work on Bike" contest. We have set high goals. Cross your fingers for us.
