Celebrating International Children´s Day by Scheidt & Bachmann way

    - Corporate

The celebration of the youngest members of our corporate family is very popular in our company. This year, we had more than 500 young and adult participants and we broke the record set in previous years.

The spacious area of our production plant in Bytča, dominated by a football pitch, is perfect for this popular family event. On Sunday, 4 June, several attractions awaited the children of employees. There was something for everyone.

A varied programme for all children

The youngest ones found their place in the children's corner, where they could play with various toys. The older ones could also draw something. For those who love two wheels, there was a children's driving school with scooters and bicycles. The instructors went through the whole circuit with the children, explained the meaning of road signs and then practical tests followed. The children had to give way to pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing, try driving on a roundabout or obeying the commanded direction of travel. For successfully completing the entire circuit, they took home a child's driving licence.

The football pitch was reserved for 10 disciplines that tested the children's sporting skills. Alternatively, they taught them how to do some sports properly. The children tried various obstacle courses, lifting weights, jumping in a sack, scoring goals, shooting from a giant slingshot, or jumping rope. They were rewarded with a diploma for completing all the disciplines. And those who were not tired yet could enjoy themselves on the bouncy castles.

Those, who did not want to play sports could turn into a fairy tale creature. All it took was crayons and 10 minutes of sitting in the face painting booth. Or the children could have their photo taken with the fairy tale characters Mickey and Minnie, who also visited our event and made the children happy. Our colleague Martina from production prepared a cynological performance for the participants. During it, she presented various dog and acrobatic stunts with her four-legged partner, for which she earned a big applause from the attendees.

Volunteer firefighters also came to see us. The children could talk to them and check out their vehicles and equipment. At the end of the event, they prepared an amazing foam show for the children, after which no child was left dry, but the children's joy flooded the whole area.

And after an amazing day full of experiences, everyone enjoyed the refreshments, which included cotton candy, pancakes or fruit for the children and goulash and grilled meat were for their parents.

This is what our amazing Experience Day looked like!
